Dumbledore was right when he said: ‘Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.’ I smile when I see it’s not raining and can commute to my destination without getting soggy. Or, grateful that I didn’t trip of the stairs cause my shoe laces were undone.

- Celebrating Friendships Of "Inconvenience"
This blog covers what I call "friendships of inconvenience," the rare bonds I'd go out of my way for because the relationship matters more than the effort or hassle. I explain why these demanding friendships are worth it, note when to let go of ones that have become one-sided, and share the example of reconnecting with my old school friend Raj Sankla after six years.

- The Glorious Burden Of Leaving Footsteps In The Sand ★
This blog covers my reflections on legacy, sparked by astronaut Christina Koch saying she hoped people would forget all about the Artemis II mission. I explore how my view of legacy shifted from something I felt pressure to build into something I now see as the consequence of pursuing a purpose rather than the goal itself, using examples like Newton's Principia and Steve Wozniak's Apple computers. Drawing on Camus's The Myth of Sisyphus, I argue that even though the universe won't preserve our names and our footsteps will fade from the sand, the act of pushing forward with purpose is what makes life a glorious burden worth carrying.
